Chocolate.tz covers Tanzania's value-added cocoa and chocolate industry — the makers, processors and policy decisions turning a raw agricultural export into a finished product. We're part of the Commodities.tz network, alongside Cacao.tz (raw cacao growing, fermentation and export) and Commodities.tz (commodity sourcing and trade more broadly).

We keep those beats deliberately separate. If a story is about growing or trading raw beans, you'll find it on Cacao.tz. If it's about what happens after the beans are fermented — manufacturing, brands, quality, and Tanzania's push to keep more of that value at home — it belongs here.
